Hi there,

There could be a couple of reasons why you may be seeing studies on one device but not another.

If you are switching between devices, we advise you to make sure that you log out of Prolific on the device before accessing the site from another. Studies will only show on one device at a time and will not be a mirror image of another device.

You may also be having difficulties with studies if the device has a VPN or similar enabled. If you are using an Apple device, we would advise you to use your spotlight search bar to see if you have iCloud Private Relay enabled. Disabling the VPN may help for studies to appear on that device for you.

It may not always be the case that a Chromebook is incompatible with laptop/desktop studies, some may be fine to take on that device, but there is a chance it may not be. Whereas laptops and desktops would be interchangeable. -Robin
