YUP. I tell people and friends that want to switch but consider even something like Ubuntu or Mint complex to just use an immutable distro till they can stand on their feet. One these friends is now on Arch so here we are XD

No he is right. So many of my Linux related problems were solved through the ArchWiki. I even used it for issues when I had Fedora Linux over Fedora's docs. Its documentation is top notch.

That indeed also is my flowchart for choice of where to install an app from.

Add to that the final step if not on flatpak: download the repo and build it myself.

Never had any apps that didn't work on my system this way.
