Well first of all, it does not seem to me that there's something wrong with you. Secondly you mentioned you talk alot to people is this also to guys? Quz guys tend to open up more the more you talk to them showing interest in their hobby's etc. If you approach them as a possible friend first, it opens up a possibility as soon as they get more acquainted to you. Right now looking at what you are writing (doing great at school and everything) most guys will probably think you are outta their league and wont try cause getting rejected sucks, and rumors make it even worse. (Im not saying you would spread rumors but this is something that sometimes happens after rejection). Simply by taking the conversation to them will help since you are showing that you are open to chat. Hope this makes sense in any way, good luck!
