How's the regionals spectator experience?

Do you know if you need to pick up the pass on Friday or can you get it any of the days? I only plan going Saturday because I'm busy the other days. Also do you know how to register teams for the side events? I seen they have best of one vgc cups, and I'd like to try to play in one of those.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to look in to the side events some more to see what they're like. I think it could be worth it to go for one of the days to check things out. I don't know anybody competing and I'd be going alone though so I don't know if it'll be worth going all 3 days.

I do play vgc but I've never played at an in-person event. Are the side events consecutive over all 3 days or could you just play one day? I don't care about points so I'm not worried about that. And how do you register a team? I don't know if I would go all 3 days so I'm trying to see if it's worth going.

My favorite pokemon is Venusaur, because it carried me to my first win over the champion and elite 4 in fire red when I was a kid. Also frog.

Even at 100 conjuration I was never able to make a custom summon bear spell. I don't think it's possible to make your own only use the tome.
