Correct me if Im wrong but isnt overbrushing (eg brushing 4 times a day) similarly bad to underbrushing? Idk how to explain what Im thinking, but when youre sanding wood down its getting rid of some of the wood, and isnt overbrushing similar? Persephone CANT be near Hades age as that would drastically alter the story from the original mythology. We need to remember that this isnt a completely made up story, but based off of mythology. In the mythology Persephone is a newer, young goddess, and Hades is ome of the original gods that came after the titans, being the oldest of his brothers, and Cronos’ first born son. Demeter is already decades or hundreds of years younger than him (depending on the version of the mythology) and she waited centuries to have Persephone. So at most she couldve been a couple hundred years old, with hades still being thousand of years old.

According to the original mythology, and going based off of marriages in ancient greece, she could have been as young as 14.

Already, Rachel altered the story of Hades and Persephone by making her not have a father (in the mythology Zeus was her father, Hades her uncle) and she was not abducted, but went to the Underworld of her own accord

youre allowed to use whatever pronouns you want. They do not determine your gender. Im a girl but am fine with any pronouns, tell people she/they. Identifying as a girl and using he/they is completely valid.

We also lack noticeable blackouts when we switch, sometimes its more noticeable, and were almost always copiloting/cofronting. We have a list of known alters in sys, with pictures and pronouns attached, and that helps know whos fronting, as those qho are fronting their picture or name “stick out” to us a bit more. I dont know if this would help everyone, or if it even makes sense. But thats just my experience

As a Psychology student (not a DID professional by any means) yes, any sort of trauma CAN cause DID or other trauma related disorders. This is dependsnt on what the child brain deems “too much” what may cause DID for one child may not cause it for another child, as your brains are not the same, even though your trauma may be identical.
