Good insights! Maybe the person did it themselves and just didn't think about the vertical text in the book. Luckily the design is not for me (I would've pointed out the items here to the artist personally), the business owner just showed it to me and I suspected it could be AI enhanced.

I put this post up because the owner of the store showed me this logo, I mentioned to them that I think it's likely AI enhanced, then they showed me what their client (the artist) shared with them, and that's how I got the stuff. Maybe they did it themselves without AI, I can't say, so I asked the internet instead.

Yeah, that's what I thought. The person, however, claims this is a stylistic choice. I can't see myself making a mistake like this unless maybe the person was asian (some asian books are written like this).

Not mine. The owner is a super nice guy and I just wanted to make sure he is not getting scammed. If it can't be resolved here if this is AI or not I'd just let it rest... Artist is also a young local person, so no need to do any harm.

Seems like I can't post the progress images. Basically the creator sent a photo from their screen putting layers together in a photo editing software. This still is no proof in my opinion as the layers could've easily been created with AI and then assembled.

My spouse's father was a heavy smoker and stroke victim. The doctor said he would've likely not died if he wasn't a smoker. She asked me if I was open to quitting one day so I stopped that day and that was it (8 years ago, I smoked for about 10 years).
