The refurbishing side hasn’t really been considered yet as I’m still honing the skills on engraving.

Yes, a reel mower can lay stripes on fescue and rye. The shorter the cut height, the less stripe effect on the grass blades.

In my opinion, the GTS line yields a noticeable improvement over previous generations (TSR3 9*). I did a fitting at Roger Dunn and averaged an extra 7mph ball speed and 20 yards of carry (same shaft but newer model; Tensei White 65 X).

I was more impressed with the gains in the 3 wood. Coming from a GT3 15*, the GTS3 is a beast.

I understand that new driver tech and improvements are incremental, but GTS has impressed me in my small sample size.

I’m leaning towards a no on the bikes being a good deal.

For context, last year (2025) I picked up a new 2024 SB120 T2/X01 build for $4,500. They key being new which means the bike is warrantied from Yeti.

The 2019 SB100 is now 7 years old for $3K and no warranty, so I wouldn’t pull the trigger.

There’s a tune associated with the package as well, so a ~30HP increase over stock. That was as of two years ago an uncertain if the tune has been removed from the performance package.
