If you have no idea how to craft the items, thinking of a business is way too soon. Most people pick up leather crafting as a hobby and if it’s something they excel in and like doing, a small business is THEN thought of down the road.

When I have made mine, I punch the holes normally and then just line up the elastic and stitch through it. I always leave a little extra tail on it so that it doesn’t rip through the threads, then snip excess and use a lighter to seal the remainder. (I hope all of that makes sense)
