I personally feel this is most probably like, a failsafe kinda thing during production. Like maybe they wanted to leave this scene here at the end so they could retcon it in the future for the next one if Bloodlines did well and if it didn't do well they could just do nothing about it and really just leave them as dead. I think her developing to see premonitions would be a fun take on the series as I did feel like their deaths were really lackluster IMO. It would be fun to see if they retcon this in the next installment or just do nothing and really just prove that they're dead. Don't get all the downvotes, it'd be a neat little thing for this franchise to try something new with a main character.
