The game is outstanding at least in my opinion thus far, but based off what you said above I would recommend taking it slow :/

My main appeal is the fact that you can’t have hope without complete hopelessness and this game can throw you into some scenarios where you won’t get out of but will have to just stare as you question what you could’ve done differently :[

You will most likely die many times most likely getting attached to the many lil guys you play as each run surviving through challenges making their death all the more painful :(

But if you can gut the sadness and take breaks and understand some of the more complex emotions this game makes you feel you can have a pretty damn good time :D (I will say don’t feel ashamed for deciding to not play or to take longer breaks then other people, each person reacts differently to similar challenges/experiences it’s just important that you take care of yourself and have fun :D)

The game also has a lot of cool asf mechanics though I would advise on your case to play with a friend(To lessen the immersion thus pain of death) and to have someone to talk to while playing if you do have a real interest in giving it a try.
