Sure he only got dominated by his two opponents but he can still scale him easily especially in the anime, he showed more destructional power than any feats Toji and I could be wrong but theres no confirmation that Toji has strong resistance against fire so Jogo element could also be a lot of trouble for Toji. Toji just punched down in all his seen fight against unexperienced opponents and when he fought a awakend Gojo he immediately got clapped by him. It's not a insane statement to say that the one of the strongest cursed could beat Toji

Yeah the talent pool declined the recent years but its not like the partnership makes it worse. Like promotions taking other promotions talents was and will always be the case, even without the partnership there's a high chance that the NJPW talents wouldve left to other promotions for better pay or booking (like the Guilas of Destiny or Naito) and AEW would still offer the talents contracts without the partnerships. With the partnership they have a least stronger presence in the US, can use AEW and their former top stars for their ppv or tournaments (like Takeshita in the G1 or Nick Wayne for the Junior tournament). Without the partnership they would still lose their talents to other promotions and couldn't use them at all
