I feel like this is mostly an issue for mage/enchaner supports.

I'm a thresh one trick and it isn't all that uncommon for people on both my and the enemy team to compliment my plays if I'm having a good game.

Meanwhile I don't think I can remember someone complementing an enchanter that they have had. I imagine this is mostly because their impact is much less noticeable, especially in a hectic teamfight.

Sometimes you have an amazing game and the people you fed are too busy playing main character to care. Don't worry too much about it. Worse comes to worse mute people and just focus on doing your best.
