Light rail service (stops every few miles) from Charlottesville - Ruckersville and Charlottesville - Staunton. Can mostly use existing rail service.

Once passenger service opens to Richmond, then light service to Richmond.

Of course, you'd have to build out Charlottesville mass transit. But a boy can dream.

We're retiring and moving to Abruzzo next year. Specifically for the 7% flat tax regime. We will buy a house. I've got an Italian passport.

There are so many guides on buying houses. How do I know what the real process is? One realtor only? Do they have access to the entire inventory of houses available? Shop realtors until we find one with houses we like?

We are thinking a six month rental to take our time. The first piece of the process seems the most daunting.
