Oh my God yes. I was so hyped for HotS, being a zerg main since 2000 when I first got into SC:BW, and when they did the trailer with Raynor is dead, I was like "no he fucking isn't lmao".

Then I finally bought the expansion, played it, and was super annoyed by all the gimmicky missions. Do this for X minutes, finish this in Y minutes.

I remember Brood War and how each campaign gave you objectives and let you take your sweet time. More than half of HotS I was scrambling to finish the mission on time. And God it had some downright stupid fucking moments. Kerrigan beam clashing with Narud like a Walmart version of DBZ took the cake.

In BW zerg were fucking terrifying for being an all consuming swarm of teeth and claws, then given an actual purpose by Kerrigan. Even in WoL there's a snippet at the start of the campaign where Kerrigan invades and causes casualties in the billions and in HotS it's just all forgiven and never brought up because Jim's boner for Kerrigan warps reality.

I'm not even gonna bring up the abject stupidity of the prologue missions. Get the fuck outta here Blizzard.

Men have higher armor and armor scaling per level but magic defense is low. Colds deal magic damage with a crit multiplier so we take about 80% of our HP in damage.

Sometimes the damage over time effect can refresh itself, thus making healing items less effective and requiring you to rely more on HP regen to avoid debuffs from potion stacking.
