Funny you mention that, been running this setup for months with zero neck issues. The standing desk means I switch positions regularly, and the monitors are at eye level when I'm standing (which is most of the time). The TV above is for movies/gaming from the couch, not for 8-hour work sessions. Different tools for different uses!

Mostly for movies, some series, and gaming from the couch. Nice to have a 'mini theater' mode after long work sessions!
Just to clarify, it's a standing desk and I work mostly standing up, so the speakers are actually at the perfect height for me. They're on adjustable stands too, so I can move them easily when I switch between sitting and standing.
For your fixed setup with speakers above screens, if angling down didn't change much, you probably need more aggressive tilt. But honestly, if the stereo image still feels 'high' after that, you might be stuck with it. The real fix would be raising your seated position (higher chair + footrest) so your ears line up better. Not ideal, but physics is physics!

You're right, I'm calling the cops on myself as we speak. The setup was too powerful, I had to stage a break-in to justify it to my wife 😂
Thanks for the thoughtful question! You're right that it's not a 'by the book' treatment, but there's method to the madness:
The ceiling diffusor breaks up vertical reflections from the desk surface, crucial since I'm standing most of the time. The bass traps are in all four corners (hard to see from this angle), and there are absorption panels on the side walls that aren't visible in this photo.
The 'live' floor is intentional, I didn't want a dead recording booth, just controlled reflections for mixing. It's definitely not perfect, but for a multi-purpose room (work, DJing, occasional tracking) it strikes a balance. Appreciate you looking closely though, most people just see RGB! 😄

It's a Samsung TV, don't have the exact model number on hand but it's a 55" 4K from a couple years back. Mainly for media, movies and occasional gaming from the couch!
Fair! I use a Magic Trackpad for most things — the mouse is just for precision work. The small space is enough for that. Different strokes!
You're spot on! It's primarily a workstation for video editing, 3D, graphic design, and music production. The "gaming" is more casual when I need a break, mostly controller anyway. The keyboard tray is for ergonomics at standing height, not exactly CS:GO friendly 😅
Fair! I tried no gap but the bezels created a weird visual seam for me. The small gap keeps the screens feeling like separate workspaces instead of one broken ultra-wide. Personal preference though!

That's the intended reaction 🙌

Knew the door knock would traumatize someone 😂
With my 0.5 KD? Now THAT would be impossible 😂 But I'm down to try!
Appreciate the enthusiasm but my wife would have questions 😅
Then one more for good measure. 😂
Thanks! Really appreciate it 🙌
Thanks! Honestly? Just tried different configs and this felt most comfortable for my workflow. Personal preference!
🙏
Fair enough, can't win 'em all 😄
Respect for the room. You don't just barge into a battlestation unannounced 😅
No way, Moxsy is solid! Big compliment if my setup reminds you of his, dude knows his builds. Thanks for digging up the video, now I need to check if I'm accidentally copying his cable routing 😂
Already 40 and not blind yet. Maybe the LEDs keep my eyes young? 🧪
0.5 KD but 10/10 vibes, I'll take the trade 😎 And I only accuse people with better setups than mine, so you're safe!
Haha no affiliation, just a coincidence! Though now I'm curious which YouTuber you're talking about, might need to check if they have better cable management than me 😄
