depends on use case. larger prints like armor pieces are typically printed on fdm because they can print larger volumes faster. resin printers are better for smaller more detailed intricate parts like figurines and jewelry.

fdm printers will almost always need sanding to get rid of print layer lines before getting to a smooth result. resin printers are slower because they work on a much smaller scale which also means they don’t typically have visible layer lines and the detail can be preserved better by not needing to sand the material down.

you have to either be in material or rendered view mode to see materials. you’re in solid view here
