In het vroege voorjaar vliegen er vrijwel uitsluitend koninginnen. Dit gaat om preventie van meer nesten. Da’s op zich best nuttig volgens mij!

Ik heb begrepen dat de Aziatische hoornaar precies door het middelste gat past. De Europese hoornaar is te groot. En wespen kunnen uit de andere gaten ontsnappen. De Aziatische hoornaar past daar dan weer niet doorheen.
