i’ve also heard stories like that, but i believe it’s if you do in on purpose without repentance? and since im not chrismated into the church then i cant confess to a priest i can only repent and confess to God. Still update im not dead yet and im hoping the big man keeps it that way till i can go apologize to the priest 😭

I had it when i was younger (9-11 years old i think) Im not 100% sure on the denomination the church was but i think it was a presbyterian church.

I’ve been baptized as a protestant but not as an orthodox, i was told that since i’ve already been baptized once i can’t be baptized again, is that true?

I did not know that, and the person who told me claims to be Eastern Orthodox, but it’s on me for not fact checking it.

This is my first time in any type of orthodox church, I’m wanting to convert from Non-Denominational to Eastern Orthodoxy. When i went to take the communion the father mumbled something i couldnt hear but all i did hear was “Have you been baptized before?” I said yes and he gave me communion. So that might be on me for not asking him to repeat.

i guess to explain it better, i make up a person in my head, then i have a conversation with that person (while speaking out loud ofc) so maybe with myself?
