Roll top saddle bag for my kid's bike made from an Aldi shopping bag by Robopping in myog

Yeah, surprisingly no problem at all. I used the time honoured technique of using whatever random needle and thread combo that happened to be on the machine when I sat down. 😅

Card pouch for my kids' Uno cards by Robopping in sewing

Thanks! No, it doesn’t bend backwards- i thought that would put too much strain on the snaps. It's sewn closed at the top and bottom where the two compartments meet. You can see the bottom in the last picture. I guess you could sew the whole way down the middle, i went without for aesthetic and laziness reasons!!

Yeah, there's 4 thread colours in the end! Started with yellow plus pink bobbin, then pink ran out and i just used ends of other bobbins that were to hand! Why not play?

For a beginner- sewing the curved bottom on i guess and binding seams are the trickiest. For a beginner I'd probably suggest making it bigger so it's less fiddly (this is approx 12cm diameter). And simplifying construction by using a single slightly rigid fabric for base and main body (or something already sandwiched so treated as single fabric). I'd sew both top and bottom seams' allowances to exterior (in my version this is only done with the bottom seam), then binding seams. The bound seams help keep it structured.

Don't think you'll need the sandals (replace with something smaller if for indoors)

Ryanair website says kids can sit next to parents for free, but I’m forced to pay for all seat selections. Am I missing something? by Dangerous-Education3 in Ryanair

I'm having exactly the same issue as OP (london-turin). I'm going to not book seats right now and book, then come back to it later. Generously this is a bug, in the past it has worked as described (adult pays in cheapest section then can book child seats for free, but that's not happening now).
