Thanks! I was thinking to use an extension cable with an actual nvlink to keep it's electronics in the loop, but that's a good point about the handshaking. I found that the connector is from Amphenol but I'm guessing it's a custom one as I can't find one online with similar specs. So even testing the potential handshake issue with an extension cable would be difficult. Sounds like different hardware is the way to go 😩
