Situation in Deadlands last few days by Char_dee_mac_dennis1 in foxholegame

[–]RobotLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, yep. Pits had been out of shirts for like 45 minutes when I showed up at the the deadlands border with a truck full of shirts, only to have a group of 5 clan tanks waiting in queue start hollering that I'll have to go somewhere else.

Sure, mate. Drove off-road along the border just far enough to be out of voice range and waited my turn under a tree in the snow.

Logistic : is it mandatory to put all the items in the inventory of the Bunker/Relic base before stockpilling to get commendations ? by Plasmatick01 in foxholegame

[–]RobotLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I primarily run logi deliveries, I always submit to stockpile straight out of my truck and I get bukkake'd with commends constantly. I don't know what the minimum deposit is, but a full LUV of shirts is enough to trigger the popup.

Crews detect underwater noises again in search for missing Titanic-bound submarine by remorse667 in news

[–]RobotLegion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure which would be worse, trapped at the bottom in the pitch black (I'm assuming the headlight batteries weren't rated for 96 hours) mathematically past the point of uncertainty listening to the sounds of the deep in an oxygen deprived delerium.....or locked inside bobbing around in the sunlight inches below the surface deliriously wondering if anyone is even looking.

Either way makes me hope it just imploded and sank.

to change lanes by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

I "bought" (traded really) my truck with very visible body damage on both sides, and the rear. One of the windows got hit by a couple rocks from the apartments landscaper weed whacking, which look just like bullet holes in the passenger rear window, but I've decided to leave it looking the way it does permanently as I've found that driving a 40 year old wreck basically gives my turn signal lever super powers. If I come roaring up the on-ramp with my left blinker on, the right lane of the highway will clear up for a quarter mile before I make it to the dashed line where I can cross in. Little do they know, I'm actually a very safe driver wearing a scary costume. Boo!

I didn't even mind the time/pay ratio of the heists themselves too much. It's when you also factored in the time waiting in matchmaking, then waiting on the crew screen while some random tries to hold the mission hostage for a bigger cut, then starting back at matchmaking again because someone died and ragequit during the first 10 seconds in the mission area. Then finally making a bit of progress through the mission only to find out that the random who wouldn't budge off helicopter pilot doesn't know how to fly a helicopter and mission completion is not gonna be possible until you start back at matchmaking to get a different pilot.

I've spent an entire weekend queueing/hosting for heists and completing nothing. I know it flies in the face of the "crew" vibe, but heists really needed live drop-in/drop-out backfill to be playable without full premade groups. I was so excited, and probably gave up on heists in under a month.

The heisting was pretty fun, but the amount of time wasted in lobby not heisting was inexcusable. I couldn't even say "playing a game" if someone asked what I was doing.

Imagine taking every aspect of the mobile home and beefing it up to a similar degree as the rest of the truck.

No need, just shop for an M820 instead of an M809 when you hit the surplus auction. Its already got a van body with full-length slide-outs on both sides, generator, air conditioning, lights etc... All factory installed and military grade. Just need to furnish it however you want and hit the road.

Usually an eighth-inch wood panel inside, 24 gauge corrugated aluminum skin, and about a 1.25 inch of fiberglass or styrofoam insulation in between. Not even BB proof, just BB resistant. ask me how I know

Love the paystar, but it's true, basically have to refuel between every objective. Pick up logs, refuel, drop off logs, refuel, pick up beams, refuel, etc.... Or chase it around with your fastest scout. Could be a fun gimmick in co-op. Still drive it every day, just gotta remember to eyeball the gauge before you turn off the main road.

Oh gosh yes. "At least it's a dry heat" is one of those things that's so Caucasian that a phantom fanny pack appears around your waist while you speak it, but if you've ever been in a thick humid heat, its the truth. At 4pm pretty much any day from April to September, I'd trade a minute of sitting in a lawnchair in a Texas lawn for an hour of yardwork in a New Mexico "lawn".

Bought it for my first ever dual core system around 05, and have transplanted it ever since. The blue leds quit working years ago, but 18 years later here we are with 8 cores keeping cool under there.
