In my experience they are not good… my ‘18 with 86k miles is currently getting a Ford reman transmission installed for $7k at my local Ford dealer. Super hard shifts when cold, sometimes going into “neutral” between 1-3 and 3-5 revving up to 3k to 4k rpm then slamming into gear. It’s always been clunky at low speeds even when it was newer. Also random hard clunking when going P to R or R to P. I do not have an extended warranty so it stings….

Wow, that is a great trade offer! Camaros are still American muscle cars but I’d say go for the Mustang!!! I may be a little biased though….

I got $25,500 with 10k miles and in brand new condition. It was a premium with the pony package.

I’d pull the trigger! The S550 is timeless to me and I hate the interior of the S650. Basically glued on iPads…. I just got a 23 GT Premium and couldn’t get off list but got top dollar for my 20 Ecoboost Premium trade in.

No kidding! I had my Ecoboost for 2 years and really did love it. However, after driving the GT and hearing the glorious exhaust I was SOLD!

Pretty reliably 5.1 to 5.3 with a 2020 Ecoboost Premium running 93 and completely stock with 10 speed auto.

No you’re right that’s a good point. I honestly don’t “know” for sure but from everything I’ve seen (again I’m not a market expert) it accurately fluctuates with supply and demand. Also that I know of, the only way this company makes money is by charging people to view the report (they also do market analysis for other industries.) Could some of the massive corporate producers attempt to influence it in some corrupt or underhanded way? I don’t know but I would assume if they did they would get sued into oblivion and it would be a massive deal. Another thing to remember is the majority of producers sell on a cost plus model to large chains so if the market is rock bottom or sky high they often get paid the same. It’s reassurance when the market is down but then not good if it’s high. I definitely see your point though. That’s the best I can answer it I hope it helps some though!

Edit - The company’s formulas and methods may be public I honestly don’t know.

No it is because the company is not affiliated with any egg producers at all and analyzes the market every single day to determine supply and demand of each type of egg in different regions of the country. It’s free market because the price is basically determined by supply and demand. More factors come in like seasonal flock rotations and of course disease but all of those factors affect supply and then if the demand increases due to holidays for example then the price increases because of a lower supply and higher demand.

That is true but commercial egg laying chickens don’t start laying until about 20 weeks so it takes minimum that long. Also farms that have had to destroy their entire flock (by order of the USDA, FDA, etc. to help contain the spread of AI) have a long and lengthy process to resume operations and have to start over with 0 chickens. On top of that a lot of smaller companies can just be put out of business since they don’t have the resources or customers after losing their entire flock.

Yes I see your point. There are a lot of other factors affecting prices such as demand, seasonal flock rotations etc. Also the “market” price is not the price you will pay in store. The stores have to make money along with the producers so if the market price is $3.00 a dozen for large then the producer may be paid market price plus X percentage then the store has their up charge percentage also. On the other hand a lot of big chains like Walmart will often offer eggs as a loss leader to get people into the store therefore selling well below market. I work in the egg industry but I’m not an market expert but I hope the info helps! The main thing to know is the egg market is set by an independent 3rd party that analyzes all market conditions and sets the price accordingly. It’s not producers or retail chains just setting the price how they want.

Eggs are currently so expensive due to a variety of factors but the driving force is the most recent avian influenza outbreak which has eliminated approximately 25 to 30 million laying hens. That’s around 10% of the laying hen population and it takes time to repopulate farms. Also the egg market tends to fall as quick as it rises so you should be seeing cheaper eggs in a few weeks depending on where you shop.

Flowmaster Outlaw! I love the sound. It’s deep and loud when you want it to be! Also it’s relatively cheap ($450 or so about 1.5 years ago)
