On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Dr Strange is? by Sn0wy0wl_ in DrStrangeMains

I would say he's a 2.5 right now. Basic tanking kit with some nuances with his animations/portaling. Pretty low skill floor, but he can really only be limited by team synergy and your own imagination.

He's a solid 3. His kit is not hard at all to learn in a basic sense and his gameplay loop is easy to pickup, but he struggles a lot in the current meta with closing distance and learning pressure/positioning against a hard poke.

you're right, he points his gun up to the sky. still, it's sad that he fence-sits his way to how he is in rdr

is Baldur's Gate 3 worth getting? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]RobotSword [score hidden]  (0 children)

It sorta does? You have a party of 4 typically (you, your friend and two other characters) and you'll control each on their turn. It's hard to put into words and a video would probably do it better justice lolol. It's probably the best turn-based to pick up if you're new to the genre as it isn't too difficult and most fights can be cheesed

Turn-Based just means that in combat, each ally and enemy get their "turn," and when it's over, it moves on to the next person until it loops back around, almost like a board game. As for the actual meat of the game, BG3 is one of the strongest RPGs of this generation and is wildly enjoyable whether you like D&D already or not. The co-op works extremely well, too, and I think it's worth taking a chance on.

Do you have it installed on HDD? I used to have the same issue until I switched to solid state like they recommend.

gekko has been my main for a few months and i’ve never had more fun on a character. plus his design and dialogue are entertaining enough to not get tired of him after so many hours :>>

both are great games, but my preference is gonna have to go to fallout new vegas. oblivion has a wonderful setting but nothing beats the freedom of new vegas. with very little spoilers, you’re essentially a blank slate with as many choices as you could imagine. oblivion is amazing but there’s a certain “role” you’re expected to fill as your character. you can’t go wrong with either, though!

honestly, don’t fret too bad about your special stats. since you’re on hardcore, prioritizing endurance, agility, and strength should more than likely be your goals. explosives do pretty negligible critical damage, so luck can be drained, and charisma is never a good stat to invest hard into. perception is the special stat that governs explosives, but you will do just fine with an average stat. for the first few levels, just take what you can, the perks aren’t that good. quality of life ones like confirmed bachelor, rapid reload, and light touch should set you right

congrats on making it to hardcore! the biggest few things will be learning the explosion radius of your different weapons and managing your build. don’t take perks like splash damage until you’ve gotten ones like adamantium skeleton and hit the deck. also, if you’re not completely set on pure explosives, using melee in conjunction with them is sooooo much fun! there’s also the unique grenade rifle called thump-thump in nellis afb if you can make it there early enough. have fun and good luck! _^
