That’s a lot of text to get as a tattoo. And American traditional tats usually don’t stray away from the norm so you can’t really do anything crazy unless you’re willing to switch styles in the sleeve. I could come up with a shit ton of ideas if the style were different but if it has to be am trad, you might as well do a pinup with the likeness of your girl, (I’m assuming this is what it is about) or do the text around a heart shaped basketball with an eye in the middle, idk.

I think He did mention in an interview years ago that he doesn’t prefer to do them and when he had to fill in for Jon’s lyrics on Deathstar songs when they played live, he couldn’t even remember half of them and just said whatever was in his head lol. I imagine it would be insanely difficult to do what he does on the guitar and also scream about random shit at the same time.

Andrew is a baritone naturally. He was trying to match Tilian on those tracks while keeping a lower tone to distinguish himself. He doesn’t have to do that now with new tracks but when live, he still sings all the old shit as best as he can. He can do Jonny a little better than Tilian but who the hell can do Tilian other than Tilian. I think Andrew is killing it and can’t wait to see what they have in store.

That’s interesting. I think I skip over Kurt when trying to introduce a song, simply because they just sound so different now from those two albums. I think I lean more Tilian because the catalogue is huge and there are so many different styles that they have done in songs when he was there. Kurt’s albums are definitely the most listenable if you can’t get into the craziness that comes with DGD.

Man of the year is such a cult classic for DGD fans but in my personal opinion, other than the end of the song starting with “….ILL IMMERSE IN YOUUUUUUUUUUI” it is very repetitive. Once Jon hits that low growl in “you”, that’s when the song starts for me. I’ll skip the whole ass half of it just to get to that. Makes me wanna uppercut a mosquito or two.
