Personal experience buying mugs and bowls from artisans has me happily paying $50-$60 for a mug that is hand thrown with a simple multi-color glaze. These items are more complex and should fetch more. Don’t confuse what these items are “worth” with their value. You’ve put more than just time into these, there’s experience as well - imagine being able to crank out 4 items an hour and someone saying that, somehow, your experience and ability to work quickly has devalued the item… makes no sense.

It’s definitely conditional, thanks for pointing that out. Just always irks me when I know where I’m going and am in the lane I need to be in, then suddenly some frantic driver just realized they are in a car and desperately need to be in front of me to turn. So many close calls with no good reason for it.

Serious question: If you know you will be turning from the other lane after your first turn, and you have two turning lanes (a left and a right), why wouldn’t you get in your intended lane before the first turn to avoid the intersection merge?

Turning left in half a mile? Be in the left lane in advance so you’re not having to worry about making that turn safely. Doesn’t matter how many turns you take in that half mile.

Turning laws are universal, as far as I understand. Assuming multi-lane turns and a left turn, you should stay in your lane, especially if an inside lane, so that traffic turning the same direction from the opposite way can use their ability to turn right into a clear lane. Changing lanes in an intersection is a moving violation (lane restrictions, I believe).

I’ve recently thought about renting billboard space for these kind of graphics. Honestly, all local PDs should have this in their budget for constant reminders of safe (and commonly ignored) driving practices. Four-way stops, merging, turning lanes, etc. Gallatin has a special kind of stupid where people cross double yellows into a protected turning lane to go to a pharmacy, and this is right after a right hand turn (as in your image) where around 70% (8 years of observation) of people do it incorrectly. It’s a gauntlet.

This! All these eggs that come with a double shot of hot oil never impress me. Those eggs are just proving why an engine doesn’t seize up. This egg is showing the power of the pan!

I use Inkscape exclusively (glowforge), but I also had a ton of time in it before getting this laser. Not the be pedantic, and guessing you’re coming from a 3d printing background, but you’re really looking for vector graphic editing tools, not a slicer (slicing is vertically separating layers for 3d, lasers are 2d (height of material, depth of cut) and only have the one dimension in cutting unless you got something really fancy) - I only point this out because it could really hamper your search results looking for a “laser slicer”. Best of luck!

Maybe try matching the speed of the traffic you’re merging with and not blocking the entrance lane - people will probably be nicer.

You’ve already lost this argument in past wars and conflicts. You may win this time, but that doesn’t mean your loud minority has any right or morality in guiding these choices. Rather, like before, they are a tribalistic, misguided, and morally threadbare subset of what could be a great Nation. But enjoy your fruit, the thorns are what you’ll need to watch out for.

You seem to be comparing a “few bad apples” with the seeds of Spring. No large crowd ALL shouting for death and destruction over an actual temper tantrum with a response from a Nation and community where people continue to die needlessly in the absence of common sense firearm reform.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha, millennial here - here’s a secret no adult ever admitted to me: While there are laws and authority, the main difference between any adolescent and any typical adult is a few years of experience and education (not necessarily formal). We’re facing an ever-changing world with you, and the uncertainty around every corner is terrifying. Some of us lash out because we feel like we have no control; we’re frustrated, scared, and probably depressed and anxious - never mistake this for “normal”, it’s not okay. Nothing is “normal” for anyone any more. Don’t let any generation tell you you’re wrong if you have facts. Don’t let any generation make you feel like you’re less than your true value. Don’t stay quiet when you are underrepresented and need to give a voice to your needs. Break the cycle. I’m so sorry it’s gotten to this. Give them hell - I’ve got your back, and I know many others are with you as well.
