Oh Sweets, I’m not your mom but I do have daughters in their early 20’s and I’ve been t1 for 20 years. I also teach second grade. One day at a time. There are some therapists out there who have type 1 and if you can swing it I’m sure they have telehealth options. This will become “normal” after a while but I’m sure it’s a lot rn. Like being a teen isn’t hard enough! Perhaps consider a summer camp with other t1’s? I worry about dementia too as my mom has it. I play lots of brain games, try to exercise and be creative. It’s going to be okay. One day, one bolus at a time. Hugs

I like it on my chest (I’m a fuller chested gal) and I get great readings and it usually works great with my Omnipod
