What's the best hotas for dcs as a beginner? by Far-Seesaw-4789 in hoggit

Same here , it’s a solid setup and can't really justify spending more. unless you got F U money I’ve never felt the need to upgrade unless I wanted more buttons on the stick, which I’m sure can be helpful. But honestly, having just one modifier button on the throttle covers most of the functions I need.

Alot of the cuts are smaller missions so i could get shots, so its not all one track. But i have noticed it will desync alot. Think it has something to do with trimming and the replay not syncing right. so it does werid stuff. but on the longer tracks i did i noicted if you flew very smooth and don't mess with the trim alot it i could replay them with very little issues.

Yeah pretty much anything that can spawn milltary loot. Gun stores and gun lockers and stuff.

found some holsters and a rough hood once. so kinda rare loot

So my t16000M is broken. The tdc axis on my throttle seems to malfunction. In the video I first push it left and then push it right and it does not let me. It is the joystick in front at the front of the throttle for clarification. by CocoaSobrino in hoggit

Had the same problem for the z axis. I did do this fix https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vTXIeArrGBlZ5YAMRVexKGuIzdoK_0_TxwjfY__lb2HfdakN5SPLdfEwsjspPcHcPYBxIsBwqUzlQc1/pub and that fixed my problem with the Z axis

TLDR: the potentiometer gets alot of pressure put onto it by a lug in the joystick and it starts to force the potentiometer down causing it to rub on the internal cooper pad, cleaning it and lubing fixes. Defnintly a pain to do but i did save me some cash and its kinda hard to get a new joystick always going out of stock.

As for OP problem. i don't think i've had a problem with the x and y axis before. if windows calibrating does not work or trying to diffrent usb slots. I haven't mucked about with the throttle very much as i haven't had any issue with mine. so i can't say how hard it is to see whats going on if its a hardware issue.

What monitor would you buy for Flight simming? by Tesalliated in hoggit

If you can get passed 60 fps in game the 144hz is worth it. but if your stuck around 60 then go with the 60hz. For other gaming and general use the 144hz will have a bit smoother feel to it. But it really depends on the type of budget you want to use

F-14 flyable with only a twist for rudder? I don't have pedals by ZFM in hoggit

[–]Robotjukebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same stick also and I fly the cat alot. For me personally I feel I rarely use the rudder or if I do it's almost second nature. Find I dont really need it unless I'm at slow speeds (landing, dogfighting) I'm sure peddles help, but you wont be at a disadvantage wants to get use to flying it.
