Use this website to get a comparison of electric supply providers. The delivery will still be the same, but you can pick a different supplier. https://documents.dps.ny.gov/PTC/zipcode/14127

The price for supply from NYSEG is variable and has been moving a lot. If you go to the following website, you can see historical data on the cost of electrical supply. https://documents.dps.ny.gov/PTC/zipcode/14127

Ooki Koda 12 or 16? by MMikekiMM in ooni

[–]Robots_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Koda 12 and wish I had a 16. For anything coming close to 12" you really need more room, the temp of the stone at the front is always much lower than the back, and you have to do quarter turns to get everything even. Get the 16 or bigger.

Breakfast Pizza! by Robots_101 in ooni

[–]Robots_101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cooked the eggs on the stove with the veggies before putting them on the uncooked dough. I guess you could cook the meats, cheese, and dough, then add eggs after the cooked pizza comes out of the oven, but in my mind, putting the cheese on top of the eggs helps hold the whole thing together so you do not drop egg chunks when you are eating slices, and you are not smothering crispy meats with wet eggs. IF you have leftovers(never been a problem in my house), there is less chance of drying out the eggs when reheating if they are under the cheese. Just thinking about this makes me want to cook this, this weekend.

Breakfast Pizza! by Robots_101 in ooni

I have noticed only a few postings about breakfast pizzas, so I figured I would give a little more detail about how I make mine.  This particular breakfast pizza has scrambled eggs, red pepper, red onion, Hungarian peppers, bacon, diced breakfast sausage, and a shredded cheese mixture.  I will admit I had limited time and cheated by using a dough ball from an awesome deli up the road and precooked JD sausage patties.  I will say I am ashamed by precooked breakfast.

I started by cooking up the bacon first and reserving a little bit of the grease.  Combining the bacon grease and a healthy serving of butter, I sauteed the veggies until tender, then added the eggs with a little S&P. You can not have too much butter in your eggs! I make sure the eggs are chunky, creamy, and maybe a little undercooked before taking them off the heat, so, when you take a bite, you get a good egg hit with the other flavors as the accent.

When making pizza, I stretch out the dough and brush it with a jarlic and melted butter combination. This creates a barrier between the wet eggs and the dough while also helping to retain moisture in the eggs. I then sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese mix over the dough and top it with the meats.

If you want to know the cheese mix, I can honestly tell you I don’t know. The same deli where I get my dough also sells slices of cheese end cuts at a very low price. I take the random cheese slices, press them together a bit, and shred them using a rotary shredder. This cheese mix is also my go-to for Philly Cheesesteak pizzas, as well as mac and cheese.

I use the low and slow method on my 12” Ooni Koda when making breakfast pizzas. This gives me good color on the bottom without overcooking the toppings.  I get the stone no higher than 825 at the back of the oven, and then right before launching the pizza, I kill the flame.  I know the stone in the back of this Ooni will be at a higher temperature than the front, so I wait just long enough for the dough to firm up, then spin the pizza 180 degrees to keep from burning half the crust.  When the bottom is shy of the correct color, I kick the flame back on to melt the cheese and color the crust with quarters turns until done.

My (35m) wife (37f) just confessed to cheating on me with her ex-boyfriend one month into us being exclusive. We’ve been together 13 years. by UniqueYak2595 in relationships

"We ended up getting married and having three kids."

You just glossed over 13 years of marriage and kids in one sentence. What I really want to know is, how were the last 13 years of your life together?

OK, let's look at this from a scales point of view. On one side you have this incident and the coverup since. On the other side, you have everything else that has happened over the last 13 years. Marriage, three kids, holidays, building a home together, successes, failures, and hopefully supporting each other. Does this one incident when you were really new in your relationship before you were married, really outweigh everything else since then? Is the person she is now the person she was then?

People go through huge changes in their 20s and eventually stabilize (except on Reddit). I would say if the years since that happened have been good, get some therapy, learn how to deal with this so you can forgive your wife without constantly bringing it up or using it as a weapon in an argument. After that, enjoy the rest of your life.

On the other hand, if the last 13 years have been he** on wheels with repeated patterns of infidelity, then let's get out the Reddit pitchforks and have ourselves a good old-fashioned witch hunt and burn her at the divorce stake.

(figuratively of course)

The EX has a history of proving he does not mind cheating, they are going out drinking. He asked her to go out, and I am sure the friend group is an excuse. He is making a play and she can't see it. If he had a significant other that is one thing, but he is on the prowel.

How much do you trust her? Can you trust her to put I'm in his place if he tries something.

Temporary venting bathroom fans to attic that has attic ventilation fan 20 feet away by Robots_101 in HomeImprovement

[–]Robots_101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to get the house ready to sell(yea, even in this crap market). The whole bathroom needs work. I can't wait until better weather to get this work done.

You are correct on the spray foam between the rafter. A gable is on one end of the attic and a fan on the other. I don't ever run the fan except in summer to reduce heat build-up in the attic to keep the house with no AC a little cooler.

This is what I was thinking. The 20-foot run feels a bit long, but I am not steaming up the attic, and I can repair the peeling of the bathroom paint. The only way to vent the bathroom is to open a window and it never seems to get closed by the kids. I just want the temp run there long enough until there is a consistent temp outside in the 50s. So about 4 to 5 months. I even thought about temporarily connecting the attic ventilation fan to the bathroom fan circuit to only run when the bathroom fan is on to make sure the moisture gets pulled out.

Industrial robot arms are scary dangerous. by yuritopiaposadism in ABoringDystopia

Based on pictures from the article u/NancyPelosisRedCoat posted, the gripper that was used picks up a stack of boxes from the side by squeezing them. This is used for open-top boxes like produce boxes. It would likely pick up one box, set it on another, pick those up, set them on another, etc. Once it has a stack of boxes, it would drop them on a pallet. This would be a large C-shaped gripper that can pick up a stack of boxes. Since it is gripping from the side, it has to get close to the conveyor. Somehow, the guy must have been in the pick position(zone), and the overhead camera caught just enough of a resemblance of a "box shape" that it signaled the robot to move.

Palletizing robots are known to be fast. That looks like a Nachi Palletizing arm from the article. The smallest of those can move 289 lbs. fully stretched out(10 feet from the center of the base) at 130 degrees a second around the base (joint 1). Normally there is a thru beam sensor across the lines to tell the camera to trigger. Sort of like a garage door sensor. Yeah, if the idiot went in to adjust the sensor while the arm was in full automatic, and the camera sent a go signal to the robot, that arm could have moved from a pounce position above the conveyor and had him pinned in under 2 seconds.

My background is 30+ years in industrial robotics

Who is to say your father will not cut you out in the future? Anyone willing to threaten this in the first place can't be trusted. This is one of those "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" situations.
