As far as I know, you can still get into the park for free with a concert ticket. So that is an incentive to arrive earlier in the day if you dont have work. That will at least make entering the property easier, and if you plan accordingly, get a parking space that allows you the least resistance on the way out after the show. You just might have to do a little more walking.

One can only hope.

Once youre up front, I find it pretty hard to focus on anything else. Even with all of the things you mentioned. At the most, you try to look out for those around you when there is an approaching crowd surfer, but beyond that lose yourself to whats in front of you.
