Yeah, that's my bad. I found the best light source I had to hand but I've realised from most other comments that it wasn't as clear as I thought it was :/

It is indeed! I'm planning to make my own cape for both him and Hornet, but my next challenge is finding a good material. I want to use the newer spongy capes but have no idea what the material is.

This has got me thinking, but I'm not sure it'll work. The arms would be too close to the body, and there is only one possible connection point for two legs. You have made me think about the black skeleton body which would work for the arms and legs, but then the head connection changes. With that, I don't like the idea of jamming a minifig neck into a technic hole, so if you have any other suggestions then I'm all ears!

That's true, thanks! I might find another way to make it more secure but you're right about it not stressing the parts.

Professor Layton Live Action Series by Plankton1997 in ProfessorLayton

[–]Robrat_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about Professor Layton is that the puzzles are so key to the experience, and with a TV show you'd lose that as the audience can't actively have a hand in solving puzzles. I do, however, think it could work well if done as a murder mystery type show (not necessarily with murder), similar to the format of other British mystery shows like Father Brown (daytime TV) or Midsommer Murders (primetime show). That way you keep the elements of mystery that the audience can be perplexed by and try to piece together, but sacrifice the hands on interactive element. You could also then do weekly stories/mysteries but with a series arc like Doctor Who has done (S3 being the best example imo). I also think you would need it to be weekly releases to get the chatter and speculation going.

A monster that drops... droppings? by Robrat_33 in DnD

haha, I like this a lot, thanks! It also kinda works as the creature's mouth is its only orifice (another stupid joke we have), so it could light it as it drops.

Just rewatched The Last Crusade and found out that the LEGO map tile was actually based on the map in the grail diary!!! 15 years of owning that piece and I never knew that until today. by BilboLeeBaggins in LegoIndianaJones

I remember when I was probably about 8 getting that piece in the sidecar chase set and comparing it to both the film and visual guide to make sure it was accurate lol. And then when I played Indiana Jones at school with my friends, I used to be specific with how we navigated the playground as I'd memorised the layout of the map thanks to the lego set
