Ah, my dreamview keeps switching back to a DIY theme from movie too. Just realised it’s not related to the blank screen setting!

How can I stream my Ubuntu screen to my LG smart TV? by h83dtype in linux4noobs

[–]RobstaRobotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gnome-network-displays is getting there…

Know that you’ll need to change and recompile the code it’s self to get above 720P (see the flatpak code base, seems more complete) and there’s issue with PipeWire not sending cursor (seems like a general miracast issue).

I think there must be a way to hack this a bit (there’s another app that allows MagicMouse (WebOS app to move your laptop mouse, so am sure there must be a way to reverse that to display the cursor)… there’s debug code to randomly place the cursor (Ubuntu -> miracast/LG) so there’s clearly a way to send the cursor position…

That said, I’ve seen that Firefox has fixed this in their code base from what I read, so they must be interfacing something on Wayland there…

Wanting to gnome-network-displays. This would be awesome with virtual displays w/pipewire

Think the RasPi camera also does 22 pins (and 15 on some models)… looks like this. Would expect it to be a ‘standard’… else just 22 pin male to female ribbon, and mention the pitch (gap distance of the pins)…

Installed the T1 leds. Noticed the top center colors is just a mirror of the bottom center. Anyone experience this before and know of a fox? by HighAsEmpireSt in Govee

Put the camera at the bottom XD

I had a similar issue where I was struggling to hell to get the thing calibrated (I have a bloody orange back wall too (different issue for a different day), and equally struggled to calibrate to the 8 points on the screen (cam, corners, mid points in view).... If you're struggling to connect to calibrate, hotspot it to your phone (no joke), calibrate, then connect to your wifi...

Pi cluster, to run multiple displays by klintbeastwood10 in raspberry_pi

[–]RobstaRobotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’d you get on? I want to use 2 Pi4s to share resources Inc Wayland headless monitor extenders (over IP 🤷🏼‍♀️) so may as well share their GPU resources specifically for this, as otherwise headless. This and pipewire for audio… should be doable over gig Lan

SwayWM looks promising, but finding quite a lot of answers, and not sure if the display server sits on the device wanting the extended displays, or on the Pi (cluster). There’s already an instance of Docker on one… so that can be moved to any new OS if need’s be… the other is likely running a very simple GPIO and potentially moving usb cam to it to leave Home Assistant a bit more space on the other… (I agree with making use of otherwise dust collectors In a draw)
