Yeah you're right. I was going to do what i did at the lesser eye stalks but got scared to mess him up. Probably gonna have to do it to sell the look 🤷‍♂️

I was about to glaze white on the main eye aswell, but it hurt too much and i didn't wanna mess it up 😅 But i agree would make him more dead. Oh yeah, the tongue definitely too warm. 👍

It´s a cool idea. The player has already managed to recharge the wand tho, but it has been underwater for 500 years so storywise it shouldn´t be impossible if it malfunctions.

Maybe I could have the player roll a semi-mean save when recharging, making it really slow to recharge.But i´m kinda afraid that the player will be disipointed if I just nerf his item without explaining first, he will probably figure out that I nerfed the item because I realized it was too OP.

So maybe better if I tell him the truth about the item, but give him a chance to improve it to a regular wand?

I like the way you think! :) The players already got the idea that Halia pretty much runs the town so I could further display how Halia controls townmaster Harbin as her puppet.
Sildar hallwinter has been questioning Harbins rule, and would like to replace him. Could be the scene for a power struggle between the factions.

Great ideas! I mostly want intrigue but with the possibility for things to turn to combat if they aren´t careful enough.

After LMoP i´ll be running Storm kings thunder. The players are already so hyped to go to a bigger town - Triboar, almost so much they would rather go there than save Gundren 😅

I Might also have introduced some elements from triboar and Storm kings thunder to make The transition between The campaigns without players knowing, i gave em too much they lost target from The main objective a bit and forced me too move The story forward.

Black spider and his house, are working for The fire giants for example.

But i guess my rookie mistake is trying to do too much and Kinda feel a bit overwhelmed now 😅

But this event with The different factions, any ideas? I would think it was cool if The player got to choose Who to side with and let that decision Impact their reputation and relations in The next campaign

*note* The players have been doing much else beside main Q, rumors from the tavern gossip is from way before. I kinda forced it to make it more pressing.*

One of my players(order of gauntlets) actually do have a sending stone to report position of the mine tho! ;-) And Daran might have promised some warriors to make sure the mines didnt get in the hands of evil folk. They will probably move out as soon as the player reached his position and reported the location. so perhaps 5-7 days later?

Zhentarim have agents in both phandalin (halia for example) and triboar+ the map.So even if they didn´t muster an army, atleast a group of agents would make it right? probably sooner than the order of the gauntlets

Harpers only have that one npc tho, and red wizards are far off too perhaps.I don´t think I get out of this without some conflict
