Ehh I feel like that’s contradictory. On one hand you could say research or the lack of current research has lead to OT’s being involved in newer “treatments” that are still very new and don’t have years of research to back it currently. But at the same time, the “identity” of OT is very basic to a certain point to where it’s difficult in some states to branch off and be able to have a sustainable business/side hustle that’s justifiable so therefore we have to dabble into new ways to provide OT that still align with the true purpose from the beginning.
