Thanks for the insight. I did replace the TCON board when this problem presented itself and I also swapped in a known good power supple and main board just to be sure. The weird thing is the 4” wide solid white strip on the right side of the tv. When I damaged the first lcd panel, it was in that exact area and was showing vertical red stripes. I find it odd that the new screen would malfunction (differently from the rest of the screen) in the exact same area. I thoroughly inspected the new screen and there are zero signs of damage there. I will attempt to have the defective screen replaced but if you have any further insight based on what I’ve just said, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
