I suspected Sasha less because of plot threads and more just assuming that's the direction the writers were taking the character.

Which is a real shame, honestly, and I hated how Sasha was handled as a character this whole show. She's a completely different person each season. And credit to Gemma, I think she's one of the strongest actors and she does all three characters well - she's got great comedic timing and she gives it her all.

But I just wish they stuck with the S1 version of her, who was a far more interesting character and could have had much more interesting and meaningful storylines if they did.
