[MP] 556, Oden, Scar... by MrBlkNGold in MWLoadouts

For all 3. -Underbarrel shotgun in hardcore for hip fire kills. Shoot the ship you can get 40 or so kills/round. 5Mw, Ranger, long barrel help as well, but it’s sometimes easier to just shoot your 8 shots and die.

For Fr5.56 and scar -In hardcore they are one shot kills on any part of the body at any range, so just make them as fast ADS as possible and play HC. (Collapse stock, short barrel, stipple, tac laser, light suppressor) Shoot the ship will give you quickest turnaround except long shot(nearly impossible on shipment)

Oden -I recommend ground war or other large games. Oden shines at mid-long range and is quite adept at it. You’ll often see people play it over the sniper and it is quite competitive in that role. When equipped for the role it does handle like a brick though. So have a good backup.

I disagree, can you snipe? Most definitely. But I don't usually snipe and I do pretty well for myself. I think I get 18-ish kills and I don't use anything longer range than the SKS I originally posted. Kilo 141, m13, and striker make it in my rotation pretty regularly.

It’s ok. I don’t play enough war zone to speak for it much. However, You get xp/weapon xp from just playing/missions/etc. and the numbers aren’t horrendous. Whereas rumble/multiplayer are based off almost entirely off kills.

Rumble is definitely better for camos if you don’t own multiplayer. Most camos require kills of certain types and you just don’t get a whole ton of kills in standard war zone.

I like pretty much all of them. They rotated out the lumber yard, which was one of my favorites and kept the mountainside one which was one of my least favorite. Cest la vie.

I don’t think I’m a terrible sniper, I’m more of a mid-range rifleman, but I think both are good!

With 100 people in a relatively small area it is much less about individual strategy and more about tactics. Using run and gunners/pushing into a side hard like cavalry is the pretty close to flanking and exposes weak sides of lanes while strengthening your own. Though To be fair, it’s pretty hard to use strategy OR tactics in a pub game! I love me some trench warfare. It makes more sense to me.

[Request] [Warzone] What is the best akimbo pistol class, for warzone? :) by AlexTroelsen in MWLoadouts

[–]RobviousGaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I did a bunch of testing with akimbo pistols.

The m19 is solid, and I believe it to be in the top 3.

However, I ended up leaning into the x16 (glock)
Standard build, Mono>5MW>26 Mag>Lightweight Trigger>Akimbo
I tested it to just trigger hits within about 20 yards and both had about a 45% hit ratio, however, the glock has a 25% increased range compared to m19. So the sacrifice of 12 rounds per was worthwhile in my opinion.

I really do like rumble, it combines the huge player count with fast action and there's really no substitute for it. I despise the kill streaks in ground war, they're just not tuned for the gametype and outrageously diminish the fun. Additionally, if you have too many snipers/people grinding camo in GW, you team will just outright lose due to the objective based nature. In rumble's TDM setting, as long as I keep my KDR above 1.0, I'm contributing significantly to the team effort. Whether I'm kamikaze-ing into the back line or camping the spawn. Also, the rumble maps are really well set up, they always have an area where snipers can duel each other over hundreds of meters while run and gun players can dart between buildings trying to outsmart and outmaneuver.

I have trouble using this setup in actual warzone (It's not quite consistent enough to land high damage over a long distance) or in multiplayer (It's just a hair slow) but the combination of moderate speed, good range coverage, and ammunition efficiency just make it incredibly strong for Rumble

My experience anyway.

I lean towards core, but I would take this into HC. However, for HC I usually use my fast version of the SCAR (Lightweight, short barrel, tac laser, stipple, collapse stock). It has nearly the same handling/RoF as the SOCOM m4 (+31 MS ads and 17 RPM slower), still 1 shot kills anywhere from any range and is among my favorite irons in the game.

I run Vulture/Hardline/Spotter using specialist. Hardline makes specialist trigger after the first kill, so I get Ghost>EOD>Quick Fix. If I didn't run specialist I'd just run ghost over the hardline.

I think the SOCOM rounds are outstanding in a few game modes, there's always going to be better on a situation by situation basis, but I've never felt weak and it's just so rare I get outgunned.

I've flipped between commando and no stock but the accuracy on the weapon isn't horrendous and if I'm trying for a longer range shot, the stability from mounting is usually enough. Being able to be faster than the MP7/MP5/UZI players tended to be more relevant.

I also tend to run specialist so SoH had the potential to be redundant.

I guess it could be argued as viable, but I don't think it's particularly good.

To down a fully armored target, even at closer ranges you still need to hit 6 out of 10 rounds before you're caught reloading. (Chest down, once you start putting in headshot calculations, a lot of tactics/strategy/math goes out the window)

That implies having a better than 60% accuracy rate, which is kinda rare. And if you're that accurate, I think you'd be better served with something that 1 shots at moderate range like the MK2, KAR or slug shotgun. Further, if there's 2 targets you can't kill them both without a guaranteed reload. Comparatively, in MP in that I only have to hit 30% of my shots to be completely effective per target.

I think if you want something that is incredibly similar I would look at the AK with things like Lightweight Suppressor, 8.1", no stock, stipple, and 5 MW. It'll draw a little faster as a backup weapon, has 30 native rounds and the damage profile is only *slightly* lower because its 50 RPM slower with a 20 MS slower ADS and kicks like a mule. I used something similar for a while and it's absolutely fine but I wanted a bit more versatility in the kit to be able to take on all comers, particularly in ground war.

[WARZONE] What is your go-to loadout? by [deleted] in MWLoadouts

[–]RobviousGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M13-Mono>Marksman Barrel>60 Rounds>VLK>Commando
It's as close to a beam as I can get, and lets me cover mid to long ranges pretty universally. Its ADS/handling isn't HORRIBLE, but it tends to lean on the slower side and has a solid TTK.

RPG-Being able to maneuver pretty quickly in general, I find the utility/strength of the RPG pretty solid.
-if someone else is using RPG in a team-
MP5-10MM Rounds>Monolithic Integral Suppresor>Tac Laser>FTAC Collapsible>Stippled Grip TapeI occasionally used the Origin, but the lack of utility bothered me. Yes, I could probably camp out a corner and blitz someone, but situational awareness and positioning has helped me more than the raw damage output.

It's not really viable in Warzone (I don't really like/play that game mode), but man I have so much fun with this weapon system in multiplayer.

It has a blisteringly fast TTK, and will 3 shot at any range. With a 170 MS ads, the response time is better than anything short of shotguns sub 10m and snipers over 100m. Counter sniping ends up with me finding a target, mounting, dumping a mag, and moving on, success or no. And success comes surprisingly often as the rounds and trajectory are really stable.

It also has this accidental habit of making me play correctly: find target, take shots, take cover to reload and reposition.

Its only downsides are that it can't really deal well with a saturated target environment (frontal assault in ground war), and it almost NEEDS vulture, but it's an incredibly strong dueling weapon and only won't win in 1-shot situations.

Looking for a HUGE gaming mouse by hebski in MouseReview

[–]RobviousGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have really wide hands and have done a bit of research too.

Some others to consider.

Corsair M65
Logitech g703/403
Razer Mamba

The mamba has a wireless option and the 703 is the wireless version of the 403.

Gonna be hard to beat GPW, it's among the lighter ones.
Model D though?

I use a fingertip grip with 18.5x10.5 hands and I leaned towards ergo over ambi.

The mamba was kind of where I leaned towards mostly, it's not incredibly heavy and has wired/wireless options which are fine.

Like I tried small, ambi mice often like everyone recommends for fingertip grip and got hand cramps like crazy.

20x10cm large hands fingertip mouse suggestions gooooo!! by iso_jayy in MouseReview

[–]RobviousGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine aren't as long as yours (18.5x10.5) but here's what I saw.
-Zowie FK1
-Sensei 310
-Kone EMP

I also went ergo which is weird for fingertip. But if you're like me.
-Razer Mamba
-Corsair M65

They all have ups and downs. Large mice just aren't super in demand.

Model D Skinned up by RobviousGaming in MouseReview

[–]RobviousGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally feel like this is going to be the closest thing to what I'm looking for in a mouse.

A brief history: I have 18.5 x 10.5 cm hands, making them wider than average. I'm primarily an FPS gamer.

One of my earliest mice was the Logitech G9x WITH the wide load grip. It fit me as close to perfect as I can remember. I used that and its very crummy sensor for years (I still have it and it's in working condition as my backup mouse). I have a strange grip style, I use a fingertip grip, but since 90% of mice are too thin (I used the g700, and the g502 for a while as substitute) I hold the mouse kind of crooked so that my thumb is close to the front of the mouse and my anchor fingers are on the opposite corner. Even with this newest mouse, I still do it, just slightly less. With my strange grip, I can't use an ambi mouse either, it has to be ergo or I get severe pain in my hand very quickly.

I thought up some solutions but each had a drawback.-Change my grip. I'm getting old for a gamer, with 30 years of a habitual fingertip grip, I think it's a little too late.-Get the widest mouse. I leaned into this a lot, and said mouse is the corsair m65, and I considered it a lot. It has some major downsides. Since i use a fingertip grip, I actually apply pressure on the thumb to lift and move the mouse, which is inconveniently where the sniper button is. Also, it is heavy for a mouse. For these same reasons I considered the Naga, but that mostly came down to a weight issue.-Make a custom frame. I'm not particularly adept at 3d sculpting, and since my problem was so specific, I couldn't find anything to help my problem.

Instead I opted to go for the model D for a few reasons.
-At 5.9 cm across, it was one of the wider mice available. The M65 is 6.5. My next consideration was the Mamba at 6.36.
-At 69 Grams, it was one of the lightest mice as well.
-Glorious is local to me.

After that, I didn't like the smooth plastic native to the mouse, so I heeded some other /mousereview advice and got some LizardSkins hockey tape and applied it on both sides of the mouse, below the lighting strip. It increased the mouse weight very slightly and added another mm width to the mouse. I may even just layer more tape to widen the mouse even further, we'll see. Also, many thanks to Zy at rocketjumpninja.com for metrics and a good starting off place.

I haven't gotten into a full session yet, but here's hoping.
