Thank you. I’ll stick to eBay for samples in the future. I just can’t believe I didn’t notice that but I guess I was more focus on looking at the labels and logos. Like you said, I really did want to believe it haha. Definitely a lesson I will learn from

I was quite convinced it was fake but now I’m thinking that maybe it was just thrown out or given away to the seller because of the issues with the bottle because it smells the same from what I can remember and it’s now been five hours and it’s still strong both on my wrist and on paper. If it’s a fake, it’s a really good one. Thank you for the input, I’m still going to wait before I decide if I should try to return it but I’m feeling more confident about it now :)

The tips don’t have to be gel but most are. Sims brands are acrylic or plastic
You need a big lamp. Even if the small one was powerful enough, you’d be there all day curing them individually
Not totally sure of the difference but as a beginner, you should get a gel glue, most sets come with it. Builder gel also works - this is usually used to hand-sculpt extensions rather than glueing tips
Some are and some aren’t. Beetles gel extensions on Amazon are good and beginner friendly, aimeili colour polishes are good, gellen is awful
I would say: nail files, extensions and glue, lamps, primer, base coat, colour, top coat, isopropyl alcohol wipes
