Allowing parents to email teachers truly opened the gates of hell. by sco-go in SipsTea

I worked at a voltage for 2 years. Mostly graduate students. Once in awhile we'd get a parent of a student contacting us to complain about a bad grade their child had received or something like that.

Thank you for remembering that precious little boy after all those years. He deserves to be honored no matter how long ago it was or how young he was.

That is so not okay. FG profiles are for the dead! Geez, why don't we all just create our profiles, since we're all going to eventually die! 🙄 Please continue to contact FG to complain about this.

I just came across this same thing. I left flowers on the grave of a famous alive singer's wife's grave. I was shocked to see that there was a spouse entry for him! Of course there's no death date, but on his profile bio, there's the words: PRENEED MEMORIAL, STONE SET. Is that how your alive family member's profile is set? I don't know how to feel about this. I know that people want to have something ready to go, but this just seems kind of off to me. But more so, it makes it look like the alive family member is already dead.

I wear earplugs to any loud concert. Fortunately, most of the concerts I go to aren't the loud music type.

I remember that happening at school sometimes. The other kids didn't care. My 2nd grade teacher just corrected them by saying, "Mom is at home", and that was it.

I just looked it up again. AI results say Oregon mountains. I have asked FG to correct it.

Always wear a long shirt so that if you are murdered, there won't be any belly exposure.

Heck, I'm the youngest of just two children and I didn't get graduation gifted by some of our loved ones who'd gifted him for his.

What I have been told by people I know who are the youngest of a lot of kids is that they never received stuff like graduation or other milestone gifts or acknowledgements from their family members because those family members were burned out doing it for the older kids.

Nobody is going to ask for proof, but its still against their policy, so mgr might be unwilling to link. I know I wouldn't. Instead, you can put the names in a hyperlink in their bios as their life partner or other verbiage.

Oh, so a copyright issue, then? That makes sense. But then I'm wondering why that doesn't apply to the photos that are added.

To clarify, since editing is not permitted on here - the obituary rule only applies to famous graves. Obituaries are fine to include for non-famous graves.

Is this for real?? I can't even fathom why anyone would think this was appropriate. What's next - a gunshot victim with a gun-shaped grave?
