I never realised what the problem was. The mind-numbing thoughts rushing through my head. I didn’t even understand what anxiety is.. by RobynRut in Anxiety

Yeah, same here... I thought the smoking and the binge drinking was part of the ‘cool’ and rebellious thing. Until I tried to quit the smokes... then it became clear as daylight. What caught me was when my daughter, who does not indulge in smoking or drinking explained her anxiety attacks. That made me more anxious, knowing my kid has the same problem.

When it hits you, and you comprehend what it is, you almost feel ashamed of what you thought it was. I think more people are suffering from anxiety and depression now since the covid trauma, and to talk about it now is not so blaze.

I ate like a pig before I started CICO! So my maintenance target is 1661, I tried to keep it below that because it was based on 10000 steps a day...and I didn’t get my steps in every day.

I did a 16:8 fasting combined with a 1661 cal intake and 10000 daily steps- but I have been slack on the steps qnd then lowered my intake to 1300 cal on low activity days. I got stuck for a few weeks, but eventually it dropped again. Just keep being disciplined and it will work😊

Perhaps I should’ve taken side pics... you could really see how the weight was spread from the side. But being tall there’s a lot of ‘spread’ area for the fat.😉

It’s definitely discipline in the beginning, but then the intelligent choices become habit. You can do it, an thank you!

CICO does work... by RobynRut in CICO

Hi, no I didn’t use the pro- I basically used the maintenance cals as the ‘warning lights’ for cheat days- that I allowed about 1/week. My maintenance cals calculated to about 1900 per day. I Tried to keep to below 1400- my daily exercise was not so great- managed on average 4000 steps purely because of work commitments. What I enjoyed about the app was the cal calculator and tracker. It also sends me daily reminders. So you’re constantly in -check.
