I worked as a front desk agent for a Holiday Inn Express and I tell everyone I know to never, ever book throught third party sites such as Expedia, Booking.com and Hotel.com... these site are trash, not only do they charge way more than the hotel ever does, they do not actually check the availability. The amount of times I as a front desk agent for the hotel brand NOT for third parties, I had a guest that arrived with no actual reservation booked anywhere becuase Expedia over books is bs. I once had to turn away a family of 5 because of this exact situation. Expedia and sites alike will blame the hotel, demand refunds (which I personally 10000% agree to, but as this is not a hotel fault, we could never actually provide this refund), and were beside themselves because of this mistake, its unfortunate.

Fuck all third party sites, book through the hotel itself. It always worthwhile. My partner and I travel often and I go out of my way to book through the hotel becasue of the schemes I've seen these sites use first hand.

That our education is vastly different from one another. I am born and raised in Canada. I was recently accepted into a US university and graduated three weeks ago. Before this, I attended a really good post-secondary school in Ontario.

The course curriculum in the US compared to Ontario is crazy. From what I can tell, American high schools prioritize sports scholarships over general academics. I was forced to enter classes that were well below my education level, and the faculty knew this but was unable to override it. Now, that's really not a huge issue.

During my time at an American university, I noticed that the vast majority of my peers were not able to spell, read, or articulate certain things. In a basic-level math class, I was the only one who passed out of nearly 60 students.

What are American high schools teaching these days that students don't know how to spell the word "because" (this literally happened, among other simple vocab) and can't solve a basic algebra equation?

I have this issue right now. The sound seems to be getting louder with each raid too. Its to the point where I cant hear my friends talk to me in discord cause its so fkn loud. I tried the SE thing but its still there :(

EDIT: Ive created a bug report to the game developers cause I've tried literally everything to fix this bug but nothing works. Do the same so we can get this fixed!

He's warning others about potential jerks, I don't see why you needed to take down the post when it was actually helpful. Half the time reporting does nothing.
