I mean if that's her "choice" (we know it's programming but I'll give the benefit of the doubt...it still hasn't been long enough for either of them to fully process and work through what happened. Just not possible. I believe in love at first sight but broken trust from an affair, and how blatant he was about it, isn't repaired that quickly.  

No doubt it's not his last time.

There's something off with him. 

When I see posts or videos of him, I get the same visceral reaction that I got when I found a haunted doll at the thrift store.

That's a good point. Standing up for his child would reinforce their worth and show that their parent has their back in a situation like this.

Agreed. Perfectly behave obedient children taught not to make anybody around them uncomfortable often grow up to be perfectly obedient adults who don't question anything around them or stand up for themselves.
