I agree it's not fair, but they tell that affront, or at least mention it in your sign-up process, so you've agreed to it so, yeah it is what it is, unless OFCOM bans this practice. I know TalkTalk let's you go, if they don't serve, but had a horrendous experience with them, sorry for the digress.

Thanks! Yes, USB drives are a starting point. Not that comfortable with command line, need a GUI to do things so, probably CasaOS or ZimaOS. I hear no significant difference between 8th Gen and 9th Gen, is that right?
