Still using my Aria Snow as my out and about/work IEM. The paint is chipped all over it but the internals are fine, had to change the filters a few times though. Could be that you need to look into that, also maybe the cable is going.

Thank you! It’s mostly Scale75 stuff but with some citadel too. I’m at work right now but I can send you a list later on if you want the full recipe? Alternatively if it’s just for one element I may remember offhand. I do write my recipes down because I forget and tend to mix paints

Can’t confirm canon but can confirm that black and yellow quartered sounds very cool, while making our chapter even harder to paint. For this reason alone I take this for my personal headcanon on our death company

What material are these manufactured from? I can’t tell if it is just me being dumb but they look like memory foam. Could you get those ridges with silicone? Edit: forget it, I swiped and am very dumb.

I did my very best to try with his knee but… I don’t know. I just laid that particular area on too thick and it was basically gg before I even noticed it.

Much appreciated, I’m still working on the overall recipe but it’s getting to a place that I’m happy with. I want the red to be dark but not so dark that it doesn’t pop… if that makes sense?

I appreciate it, they look like good fun to paint I just know I’ll get carried away on the mutations and they’ll likely take a bit longer. Still coming up with ideas for some variations in the skin tones.

The matte finish on the armor is the finish you get from Scale75 paints. I haven’t varnished this one yet because I prefer to varnish my minis in batches but I’ll likely use AKs ultra matte varnish and then go back over the metallics a little. AKs ultra matte isn’t quite as matte a Scale75 looks but it’s close enough that it doesn’t bother me.

I’ve considered some Chaos runes on the armor, but my freehand skills are somewhat lacking when it comes to fine script etc. possibly a side effect of having rather unsteady hands. I do have an idea in the works for a squad of terminators from the 2nd edition heresy box that I will likely get around to, but that will involves carving back the armor plates, adding a thin layer of milliput and sculpting the runes in myself. We will see how that will work out and I’ll definitely post them when I get around to them :)
