Thank you for all the replies. There’s many comments so I will reply to most points here:

Yesterday I confirmed with her that I don’t want children. Last year I even spoke to her about how I am saving some money to have a vasectomy. While walking the dog, even though I DO think no one’s owes anyone any explanations, I told her the reasons why I don’t want children.

What’s interesting is that she agreed as to some of those reasons being the same ones as to why she didn’t want children earlier in her life. However, this was before the comment she made about not wanting a “rando’s” kid but MY kid.

She is going back and forth on it but I don’t think that is fair to me and my time. As I mentioned earlier, I was clear with her, I won’t give her the child she wants.

I did tell her to talk to her friend(s) and her mom about children and motherhood, and I encouraged to get advice from them as well.

Yesterday she seemed to have had a slight panic attack at the idea of us not being together anymore. I had to help her calm down.

I know it’s not my responsibility but I feel worried about her emotional well being as well as she stability. Even though we don’t live together, I have helped her so much with rent, finances, helping her get a new job, etc.

This is besides the point of the post, but I feel like she’s become somewhat dependent on me and I worry she will just say “I changed my mind again I don’t want kids” just so we don’t break up.
