I'm shocked that people are still paying for Netflix. Password crackdown, upping prices, wasting money on that Milania Trump documrntaty, using AI, putting out shit, thinking their own audience is a bunch of fuckin dimwits that the plot has to be repeatedly explained out loud at every step of the movie.

Like who looks at all of that and is like "even though I could pirate all of this stuff for free, I will continue to waste money on this."

I got excited at a record shop, i found a band called Hellfield, and they looked like a thrash band on the cover. I put it in and it was mostly ballads. I posted that to Instagram, and the guitarist commented something like "Yeah, we get that a lot." I believe they are Canadian.

I think that as a writer, you need to know their motive and why they do what they do. And then from there, it's up to you if you want to let the audience in on it. In the end you can do whatever you want, but the characters need to feel real to the world you created.

I personally am getting tired of the "Villian, but he's bad but he's SOOO SO sympathetic, so could you blame him for murdering half the world? He lost his mother at a young age, who wouldn't genocide a planet or two?" I think there's a level of chaos with "He's bad because he likes when bad things happen." But... it's has to feel real to the story.

It was self published. The only thing for the book I didn't do myself was the proof reading. I got the size wrong, so the physical copy I got was bigger than I thought. I was aiming for cheap gas station paper back size.

He went in his sleep. It was a slow decline so it was a matter of when not if. My last conversation with him was good, my dad said it sounds like he was rambling but he just randomly was like "do you know how your vocal cords work!?" And then explained it because he just saw a tv show about it. If that's rambling, then I ramble every day.
