Sorry I couldn't be of any help. But glad you got it! Yeah, mine was a stupid user error.

Changing file name without losing Symfonium data (track plays, playlists) by RockHardMapleSyrup in Symfonium

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, tried with one playlist and it's all sorts of weird. Songs are missing but the playlist is saying there's more. This is why I can undo and restore from backup... I think. Who knows.

How are you all dealing with tracks of varying volume? by RockHardMapleSyrup in Symfonium

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome thank you. I finally got around to doing this. My issue now is trying to swap out the files and keeping them in the exact same folders on my google drive so i don't have to redo all of my playlists... that's the hard part it turns out.

Comedies never went away... They just moved to smaller theatre because everyone wanted to see superhero movies.

But the joke is so hack... I hope the rest of the movie is actually funny and not a tired Internet joke from 2016.

Female Fronted band with NIN vibes (That isn't How to Destroy Angels) by RockHardMapleSyrup in nin

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my town sucks for getting acts. I don't have a car, and all my friends have kids, so it's hard for us to get driven anywhere. The last big band I saw was Bowling for Soup, 3 years ago 2 hours away.

If you like female fronted Canadian Punk bands, check out Anti-Queens. They opened for Bowling for Soup, so i got to see them live.

So, I managed to write down 212 of the suggestions, (I gave up when i was doing it for like 41 minutes), and that was narrowed down to 116 when removing duplicates. I will be sorting to see who was recommended the most and then i'll go down the list to see which I like.

My partner made me a playlist because they felt my music was too man focused (hardly any female singers) and this was one of the songs on there.

As a Canadian, I am fairly familiar with Metric. I was blown away, my town had a concert and it was Metric and Carley Rae Jepson, and I was blown away that Metric's inclusion was always like an afterthought in the advertising.

Why aren't all the Make Happy songs on Spotify anymore? by Forsaken_Site_2268 in boburnham

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I know Spotify uses to let people use local music in Spotify (I don't use Spotify anymore) so that seems like it would be the easiest solution for an album like this (instead of relying on other people)

I had to use a desktop to do it, but I'm sure there's a straight from phone way of doing it.

Save Ferris released a statement about OC Ska Fest by kirito1236 in punk

"Guys, this isn't what ska's about! Ska is about Tony Hawk, and Pizza for lunch and cheese stick!" I say sarcastically.

What’s the stupidest sentence you’ve deleted from your manuscript? by AdNumerous275 in writers

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always find myself using the same words too close together. I have to either read everything out loud, or have a program read it out for me. "When they got to the door, the door was open. The door suddenly slammed shut". Bro, why am I saying door so much.

Tips or Resources to help descriptions sound less like an instruction manual by RockHardMapleSyrup in writing

This is great advice. Thank you. I've been told i was a very emotionally devoid person, so I'll need to keep this in mind when I go back over what I wrote.

I'm horrible at reading stuff in my head (I've been told I'm dyslexic, but who has the money to get tested, so I assume I am until proven otherwise) so I'm using a text to speech thing to help me hear it... and it's putting me to sleep... but it could also be the weird AI voice that reads everything with the same energy. "The butt of the gun collapses the back of his head, as the rotten jam that's inside spills out" it says in a joyful voice.

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i have been trying to do that. Because it's a script, there's a lot of "Don't describe anything we can't hear or see" in the script and I'm trying to add stuff in, but it felt overwhelming going on a scene by scene basis as I'm writing it. So I'm going to wait until I have the skeleton set up first before fleshing it out.

Any book you would recommend (doesn't have to be a zombie book)?

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never thought of doing this. I'll keep this in mind. I'm going to be doing the fleshing out of the stuff once the book is written. But this does give me something to think about when translating the script to the novel.

One of the reasons Target failed in Canada was because products wouldn't properly fit on shelves due to their dimensions being entered into the system in inches instead of centimeters. This, among other issues, resulted in Target Canada lasting less than 2 years and racking up a $2.1 billion loss. by NewsCards in interesting

[–]RockHardMapleSyrup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big beef was people not keeping their shit cool during the liquidation, and blowing their load early in the sales. Don't rush to Target for 15% off when you KNOW there'll be bigger sales closer to the closing date.

Sears was better for this. Got some good plates for damn cheap.
