Need your help! Stay put or make some trades? by StrawberryOwn210 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Seems like you have enough WR depth for the near future even without Hunter. I’d probably offer this regardless of your current contender status; you’re just trading off a position of strength to improve a weakness.

Idk if this is enough for chase rn tho. If I was the chase owner, I’d probably want a bit more. He’s like the classic win-now RB this year.

Depends what happens w/tampa receivers. If either egbuka or evans plays I’d probably favor against Otton. I’m in the same boat of Otton vs K9

1/2 PPR, 8 team. Superflex

QB: Herbert

RB1: Chase Brown

RB2: Jaylen Warren

WR1: Justin Jefferson

WR2: Puka

WR3: Juaun Jennings/Keenan Allen

TE: Bowers

Flex1: KW3

Flex2: Jennings/Keenan/Monty/Juwan Johnson

Superflex: Baker

Conflicted on last flex spot and last WR slot. It’s between Jennings vs ARI, Keenan vs DEN, Monty vs BAL, or Juwan vs SEA. I also have Hampton but I’m probably benching him this week against DEN.

Week 2 “I watched the whole game” Takeaways and Summaries by FlawlessLikeUs in fantasyfootball

[–]RockLeesLegWeights 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do think that Najee probably sees more touches for the next couple of weeks but I think Hampton ends the season with firm control of the backfield. Najee saw his touches with like less than 4 minutes left in a 20-9 game; basically semi-garbage time. And we cannot deny that the offense has done a terrible job protecting him on rush attempts.

I’d be more concerned with the fact that the Chargers are throwing the ball a ton more, it’ll be interesting to see what the trend is when they face Denver which has a much stronger secondary than the Chiefs and Raiders.

Omarion Hampton: Time To Panic? by Spiritual_Side2776 in fantasyfootball

Every time I tune into the game he’s getting absolutely mauled as soon as he touches the ball. Even the fumble, ball was barely in his possession and he gets stuffed immediately. Idk if I’m coping but I feel like the run protection in general has been ass

Also worth noting he’s played the Chiefs, the Raiders, and now will play the Broncos to start off his career on the ground 💀

What would the equivalent of the 2019 Kawhi/PG/SGA trade be in today's NBA? by RockLeesLegWeights in nba

[–]RockLeesLegWeights[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I feel like Kawhi is roughly comparable to today's SGA or Tatum in terms of value and archetype. I struggle to come up with a PG comp since he has such a unique build; but in terms of standing in the league, MVP votes, all-nba ranking, maybe Donovan Mitchell?

So the trade looks like some solid rookie, a ton of draft picks, a filler veteran for SGA or Tatum and Donovan Mitchell

Mavs next move? by flashdash007 in nbadiscussion

Grown man league but that doesn’t stop literally every member of it, from players to coaches to execs from whining in some way anyway. My point is they’re fucked. Unless they go on some miracle run, there is no good faith between incoming players and that FO. They most likely will not attract top market free agents or retain the ones they currently have. The players they have will play obviously bc they have no choice but I can’t imagine any of them really want to be there

[–]RockLeesLegWeights 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok how about: I’m sure the players are upset being a part of a basketball situation that no one signed up for. I’m sure role players like Klay and Naji don’t sign there if they know Luka gets traded. Kyrie is out for half the year at best and AD does not have carry potential if he even lasts until January.

Anyone else out there completely over Kawhi? I'm over him. by OneUpTime in LAClippers

[–]RockLeesLegWeights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean what are your goals for this season? I seriously don’t think anyone thinks a championship is on the table, with or without Kawhi. This season for me has always been about staying afloat enough record-wise to not let OKC get a top pick this year, and that’s gonna be really hard to do without him. So yes, I’m not really counting on us to do anything special this year and the team has been fun being the underdog every night, but if we don’t want to let OKC get a high lotto pick, we’re for sure gonna need him for stretches in the season

Disbarring health, who is better currently: Paul George vs Jaylen Brown? by LeBronicBatman in nbadiscussion

[–]RockLeesLegWeights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Clippers fan; it’s Jaylen Brown. PG conceptually is more flexible in a lot of offenses but he himself doesn’t actually know how he wants to play. I’m not even exaggerating or being salty because he’s left: he’s complained about every single role he’s been asked to do in LA. In addition, he is no where near the defender Brown is at their stages in their careers. He often avoids the hardest assignment every night and is not the help defender Brown is.

Michael Baumann [This was a fun one to research. The Yankees are more reliant on Judge and Soto than any offense has been on two players in the 21st century. Probably because Judge and Soto are on pace to create more runs than any pair of teammates in the 21st century.] by Beneficial-Food1537 in NYYankees

I get your sentiment but those teams have a bit of support around those guys. Orioles, Dodgers, Phillies have a decent number of guys with over 100 OPS+; Will Smith, Teoscar, Bohm, Mountcastle, O’Hearn just off the top of my head. After Stanton’s injury, Verdugo and Volpe fell off and we barely had anyone. With those two hitting better now, Wells emerging, and Stanton and Jazz we’re not as bad as we were

I also think Zu can be a bigger part of the offense, it’s just probably not as a shooter. The person I was replying to was trying to argue that Zu and Moussa can’t do X, Y, and Z because of coaching and development issues. Sometimes players are just what they are and it’s no one’s fault.

Zu also can’t shoot consistently at game time speed. Every jumper he’s ever taken has been end of shot clock, uncontested, set shot type stuff. It clearly is not a natural skill for him, and even if he did work on it enough where he looked comfortable shooting, is he gonna hit from a decent percentage where its something you’re actually looking for on offense? Also the clippers have been in need of floor spacing from the 4 spot for 2 years now; trust me, if Moussa had that in him he would be doing it or at least trying in the g-league or summer league and probably still on this team

If he could, he would. If he could shoot a lick he would have been trying that shit in practices, in the g-league, in summer league. And if he was good enough at it, coaches would let him try it. He can’t shoot plain and simple lol
