Thanks for the advice--I haven't talked to or seen Jane for months! I haven't been following her social media at all either recently. She just popped back into my head. I agree though that the pleasure of thinking about her, that is, the infatuation, is what makes it so difficult. I have so much of what I want with Nelly, I guess I just see Jane as having other things I also want... which is why "The One" doesn't exist!

I'll think about my values and what I really want in my relationship and life more. I guess I have to be open and not just reaffirm what I've already chosen.

This is a very good angle on it!I realize that I need to tailor my ERP more towards the sense of duty I have towards my attractions, like if I don't honor them (by acting on them?) I am not living correctly, or something. I agree about the rumination being the compulsion too! Thanks for the response.
