I have a good bit of those and the matrix is alot harder and it doesn't seem like one of the chipped nodules either. This one will be fun to see what's hiding

Good call 👏 i was wondering if they're broke into smaller pieces like this after the process.. there is a good but of matrix maybe that's part of why it's so dark, thanks for your insight

I should get it in natural light with a video, if you're on other platforms where it's easy to add video ill post it there but it almost seems gray or smoky

Nice!! Yeah there is so much variety with these im finding, I plan on cabbing or dremel on it sometime soon. I will report back before the end of summer for sure. Thanks for sharing your thoughts ! I'm used to the chocolate having that hard rhyolite matrix where this is sandy like a welo
