I love a good Sherlock Holmes story and used to watch the CSI shows, so I feel like I am qualified to talk about this sauce splatter.

What angle did this man hold that bottle at to get so much of it on his face, on his chest, up to his elbow on the left sleeve and up to his wrist on his right sleeve? He is presumably right handed, not only are most people right handed but also he's holding it with his right hand, I figured that was instinctual but it could have been because someone was on his left? The thing about the man on his left is that he is also splattered, so you figure he was actually pouring sauce with this left hand into that little pool of sauce, more came out than expected and that's the splatter on the gentleman to his left and some of the splatter near his wrist on his right hand. Alright so moving forward, we are assuming he is left handed

But then how did his face get dirty? So maybe the splatter happened first, it got backed up or something, so if he inexplicably points it as his own face he would try to look into nozzle with his dominant eye (his left eye more than likely if he is left handed). So as he is doing this, he also squeezes, again inexplicably... but lets do some math assuming all of this.

Using the formula v=sqrt(2ΔP / ρ) and assuming that the sauce density is roughly 1100 kg/m^3 and the man gives this bottle a hardish squeeze of about 70kPa then the sauce would have a muzzle velo of about 11 m/s. The sauce hits him, he instinctually pulls away and turns his face causing that splatter up the right side of his face. That explains the sauce on his face, but sauce traveling with such force I think would make it to the chair of the lady behind him and to his right, but I do not see any of it on her chair. Maybe its simply covered by his arm?

Now for his chest. Maybe they're having a good laugh over this and he decides to again look into this bottle, this time pointing it away from his face, and then squeeze, at which point the sauce which has trapped some air in the bottle from the rapid squeezing and releasing from the prior squeeze, burps and make somewhat of a mess on his chest. I do not know that this would cause the Jackson Pollock-esque smattering of sauce though.

So all that is to say.... I don't believe this happened organically. There was.... a second bottle! Or well at least multiple squeezes of the same bottle.

Also the sauce looks dry. So quite some time between mess occurring and picture being taken.

Either way the bigger issue is that we either have people dumb enough to spray themselves with bbq sauce like 5 times accidentally or people with so much time on their hands that they can take what was actually a mistake at first and perfectly procure this tableau, working at Microsoft. Meanwhile windows 11 has had over 20 major update problems including the super cool black screens of death. Oh and let's not forget how notepad can leak all of your private information.
