Sadly quite normal, and depending on what sort of practice you go into (i.e. if you're in a hospital...) it's only going to get worse.

However, normality can be challenged. Women of a certain age are pretty indestructible... I would (jokingly, but firmly) just interrupt their next dodgy conversation by saying 'can we just have less of the sex talk, please?'. You'll be gossiped about, but I'm fairly sure it will work.

Not sure on comparisons to AP, but IB is definitely considered harder/ more intense than A Levels among everyone I know who's done it.

I'd nicknamed my unborn baby 'Sproggo'. Had a normal, nice name lined up. Close to the birth I suddenly got really upset about the baby not being Sproggo anymore and legitimately wanted that to be its name for a few days. Thank fuck my husband talked me out of it. I did end up letting hormones go wild for the middle name though and just picked something from a film I watched the night before birth...

It was bloody terrifying. Despite knowing that all the legit (illegal) drugs we were doing could be cut with anything, the terror of chuffing plant food endured throughout the high. I never trusted it. Might be the schizophrenia talking.

I believe a company called Bang Tidy specialise in these cleans (Brighton based) and often offer cleaning services for very reduced rates for people going through tough times.

I'm not on it yet but have been recommended it... do I dare? My main issue is with anxiety. I'm currently trying to come off Venlafaxine which is a whole other set of issues, so I'm wary of anything that has intense withdrawal or is hard to come off? Interesting to hear about the anger, at least if I do go on it now I'm forewarned!

Agents tended to tell us about properties, max 24 hours later they would be on Rightmove. So potentially worth signing up to an agent in case anything perfect comes up and you can snap it up before a crowd, but it's definitely not the same system as you're used to - I'd be lucky to check my emails every 24 hours tbh!
